Disneyland introduced “Magic Key” passes Tuesday that will replace its Annual Passport that was discontinued upon reopening after the state’s lockdown.
When Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure parks reopened on April 30, they did so in a limited capacity, asking people to make reservations for entry and doing away with its annual passport.
Now that the park has been open for three months, it’s introducing a four-tier pass starting at $399 and ranging all the way up to $1,399.
Magic Key members will still be required to make reservations to the parks, choosing to either spend the day at one park, or choose a starting park before hopping over to the second park after 1 p.m.
The highest-priced pass option comes with parking, steeper discounts on merchandise and food, and provides availability for every day of the year.
The tiers will be sold as follows, starting August 25 at 10 a.m:
Dream Key pass – $1399 ($179 down payment + $102/month for 12 months)
The Dream Key pass will have no blackout dates and allows guests to hold reservations for up to six dates at a time. Parking will be included and members will be eligible for 20% merchandise and 15% food and drinks.
Believe Key pass – $949 ($179 down payment + $65/month for 12 months)
The Believe Key pass will have select dates blacked out, but like the Dream Key, will allow six reservation dates to be held at once. Pass members will receive 50% off parking and 10% off merchandise and food.
Enchant Key pass – $649 ($179 down payment + $40/month for 12 months)
The Enchant Key pass will also have select dates blacked out and will allow four reservations to be held at once. It will not include parking or provide discounts for it, although 10% discounts will be available for merchandise, food and drinks.
Imagine Key pass (Southern California residents only) – $399 ($179 down payment + 19/month for 12 months)
The Imagine Key pass will have select dates blacked out and allow for two reservations at once. Parking will also not be included, but 10% discounts will be available for merchandise and food.
