On Wednesday, April 6, the Irvine Police Department reported the discovery of three decomposing bodies, which were found inside an Irvine home after extended family in Canada asked Irvine authorities to perform a welfare check.
The bodies, which have not been identified by IPD, were located in a home on 58 Riverboat, according to IPD Lt. Bill Bingham.
Irvine Police Department is calling a possible murder-suicide. However, it is unclear if all the bodies are of adult age.
Authorities said the extended family in Canada had not had contact with their relatives in Irvine for more than a year. Police say there is no sign of forced entry.
