The White House announced that President Donald Trump was being taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after testing positive for COVID-19.

“Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the president will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement.

President Trump recorded a video message within the White House before leaving for the medical center, saying, “I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out.”

Multiple media sources have reported that Marine One, the Marine aircraft designated to transfer the president, has landed at the White House.

White House physician, Sean Conley, sent a memorandum Friday, detailing what the president was being treated with. Trump was given an 8-gram dose of an “experimental antibody cocktail” from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

Trump was also taking zinc, vitamin D, melatonin and a daily aspirin.

The memo also noted the First Lady was experiencing a mild cough and headaches.

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump began quarantining in the White House Thursday after a close aide tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. It was later confirmed that the First Couple had both tested positive for COVID-19, as well.

The rest of the Trump family has tested negative for COVID-19.
