The movie industry has long been dominated by men. From the directors to the producers to the writers, it’s been a man’s game. And while things are slowly changing, the issue of marginalization of women in Hollywood is still present. So what can be done to change this? We can start by supporting films that have female leads and/or female-driven narratives. We can also make our voices heard by calling out sexism when we see it in films and demanding more gender parity across all industries.
