As live music events return to their rhythmic supremacy in California, the Orange County Soccer Club has announced a brand new summer concert series, as well as pre-game beer fest dates.
Starting on Friday, April 15, well-known Orange County natives and ska legends, The Aquabats, will be taking the stage at Championship Stadium for the first-ever Footloose Friday Summer Concert.
Currently, OCSC is planning for three Footloose Friday Summer Concerts, April 15, The Aquabats, Code Name Rocky and Half past Two. Friday, May 6, Sweet & Tender Hooligans (Tribute to The Smiths & Morrissey) & The Curse (Tribute to the Cure). However, the act for Friday, June 24 has yet to be announced.
The defending champions will also be hosting several beer fest events, starting Saturday, March 19. Tickets to OCSC beer fest events include access to 50-plus craft beers and local food trucks.
Jeff Garner, OCSC President of Business Relations spoke about the OCSC most recent partnership with Brew Ha Ha Productions, adding that it was a great opportunity to provide entertainment for the whole family.
“OCSC is thrilled to partner with Brew Ha Ha Productions to continue to add family-friendly entertainment options for our fans and the communities of Irvine and Orange County,” Garner said. “The Footloose Fridays Concert Series will provide an intimate, comfortable and safe venue to enjoy music from top local and national bands.”
Slated to be held inside the “OCSC Fanzone” fans can look forward to local breweries and local food vendors.
Tickets to the Footloose Friday Summer Concert Series At Championship Stadium in Irvine start at $25 with VIP options starting at $75.
