An announcement via the Wild Rivers website also confirms the mid-June date. In fact, a soft opening will also be available for those who sign up for the Wild Rivers News Club.
The $60 million water park began sharing renderings on its Facebook page in July 2020. Since then, various challenges delayed the project until it acquired the funding it needed in July 2021.
Wild Rivers season passes went on sale in the Fall.
Wild Rivers’ opening season will be at limited capacity and Season Passes will be capped at 10,000. Current Season Pass prices are listed at $160, and day passes are listed at $65, per its website.
Wild Rivers gave members of its mailing list a chance at early access to its Summer 2022 Season Passes, according to the president of Wild Rivers Water Park, Mike Riedel.
In January, excitement over the grand opening began to swell after aerial footage showed ongoing construction.
The quick clip, posted on Sunday, Jan. 23, was viewed more than 15,000 times and received dozens of comments from social media users.
With the anticipated opening approaching, both adults and children seem to be getting ready for the water park’s opening this summer.
