The city of Irvine is asking residents to be aware of on-going road work maintenance being performed by the California Department of Transportation, which will require lane reduction, off-ramp closures, and detours around on the Toll Roads through Irvine. The closures are expected to continue through Wednesday, Feb. 3.

To help travelers track exactly where these closures will occur, this interactive map provides real-time data on the latest closures and delays reported by The Toll Roads of Orange County.

In a tweet on Friday, Jan. 29, the city of Irvine addressed the upcoming closures, and advised Irvine residents to continued to check CalTrans for any updates regarding potential delays, as all CalTrans related work is subject to change, “due to traffic conditions, weather and availability of equipment.”

“Please be aware of these onramp, offramp & lane closures in and around #Irvine this week,” the city of Irvine shared in a retweet of CalTrans’ list of upcoming closures for maintenance repairs.   

On Monday, Feb. 1, CalTrans will shut down the Portola Parkway onramp on the southbound SR-241 overnight for sign work, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m, Tuesday, Feb. 2

On Tuesday, Feb. 2, all lanes of the southbound SR-73 from MacArthur Blvd. to Bison Ave., beginning at 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m, Wednesday, Feb. 3.

Additionally, on Tuesday, Feb. 2, the northbound offramp to Los Alisos Blvd. on the SR-241 will close overnight starting at 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m, Wednesday, Feb. 3.
