Body and Mind

Oh how blessed we are with a body and a mind
But to their great function, we are blind.
Together, greatness they can attain
If only humans knew how to train.

We question who is in control
And wonder if together they make whole.
Is it part of the body or the soul?
Many theories have been told.

Aristotle, Freud, and Descartes
They all gave us a head start
But what happens when we part?
Do they stand together or apart?

A question so many have asked
A clear answer we still lack,
I wonder how human will react,
Once they comprehend this abstract.

Whether there is fusion or separation
Together, they make an identification.
Accept their intimate communication.
They clearly have a destination.
