The holiday season will be a bit brighter at Tanaka Farms this year. Irvine’s favorite pumpkin patch will soon be debuting a drive-thru holiday light experience, beginning Friday, Nov. 27.

“Hikari, a Festival of Lights,” will transform a drive-through Tanaka Farm’s 30-acre farm, into a twinkling, holiday-themed wonderland.

In a recent Facebook post, Tanaka Farms shared the news about their upcoming holiday experience.

“Hikari means shine in Japanese, and this holiday season we have really made Tanaka Farms shine with over a mile of twinkling lights! As you drive through our 30-acre farm, you will be dazzled by farm-themed lighting from trees, to scarecrows, tractors…even our sugarcane got the holiday light treatment! Plus, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we have a very special visit from Santa, himself!”

Tickets can be purchased through the Tanaka Farms website.

COST

Tickets will cost $49 per vehicle Monday through Thursday, and $59 per-vehicle Friday through Sunday. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., the last car will be let through at 9:00 p.m.

Hikari, a Festival of Lights will run at Tanaka Farms between Friday, Nov. 27 and Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021.
