On Wednesday, Oct. 20, the Orange County Soccer Club will host Irvine City Night in celebration of Irvine’s 50th Anniversary, as OCSC is set to face-off against the San Diego Loyal SC led by Head Coach Landon Donovan in a SoCal rivalry matchup at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine.

OC Soccer Club’s long awaited Rivalry Night against the SD Loyal will come with the celebration of Irvine City Night. To celebrate, Orange County Soccer Club will also be hosting a Dollar Beer and Cheap Eats event starting at 6:00 p.m. Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan and other community leaders in Irvine are expected to be in attendance.

With OCSC currently in 3rd place in the Western Division, the result of Wednesday’s match will determine a home playoff game.

The Loyal, having already clinched a playoff seed, are also aiming for a victory with the team’s home-field advantage on the line.

In celebration of Irvine City Night, OCSC and the city of Irvine are offering fans discounted tickets, with proof of an Irvine ZIP code. With proof, Irvine residents will have exclusive discounted tickets of $15 for reserved seats and $10 for general admission.

OCSC looks to continue its winning streak after beating Pacific Division Leaders Phoenix Rising FC 1-0 on Wednesday, Oct. 13. Game time is at 7:00 p.m.
