Hikari, the festival of lights, is one of the many holiday-themed attractions in Irvine, and this year is no different. Tanaka Farms opened its annual celebration on December 1, and time is now winding down as the light festival comes to a close on Sunday, Dec. 30.
While Tanaka Farms will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, along with New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, there’s still plenty of time to check out all the festivities.
Tanaka Farms has installed more than 1 million lightbulbs of colorful Christmas lights for the 2021 season and offers two different options to view the lights, Chinese lanterns and other festive installations set up throughout the 30-acre farm.
Tanaka Farms is offering holiday wagon rides that travel the proximity of the entire farm, and allow guests to wander the Land of 1,000 Lanterns and other installations inside Candy Cane Lane.
The main attraction is the Gingerbread Forrest, where guests can get food at the Tanaka Grill. This year, the grill is featuring Kettle Corn, hot chocolate, funnel cakes and more.
Had a wonderful time at Hikari with the family. Tanaka Farms is the place to be for holiday lights, wagon rides, activities and hot cocoa for the entire family.#WeAreIrvine #happyholidays pic.twitter.com/SEiHtZrrb8
