It happens to everyone—you order some late-night marijuana delivery, have a great time, then realize how hungry you are. If this sounds familiar, just know that you’re not alone: we all get the munchies after hitting the bong. Now, where to go in a stoner snack emergency?

While the Orange County night life isn’t as active as Los Angeles, there are still plenty of places to satisfy a late-night craving. Here are the top places for 420 munchies in Orange County:

24-Hour Food Spots on the Orange County Coast

There’s nothing quite like smoking a bowl of your favorite indica strain, watching the waves, and then satisfying your munchies with some good food. You can still enjoy outdoor dining in Newport Beach well into the wee hours of the morning, and Dana Point is practically a pilgrimage site for breakfast at all hours. The beach cities are blessed, but we have a few favorite restaurants that are open late:

  • Harbor House in Dana Point. You can walk here easily from Doheny State Beach, and their hearty diner food is guaranteed to satisfy. Breakfast burritos, burgers, milkshakes, malts, pancakes and more are on the menu, and it’s open 24 hours. That’s right—Harbor House Café never closes!
  • Shorebird in Newport Beach. Their gourmet sushi, sandwiches, and seafood are available until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. They’re right across from the Newport Beach Pier, so if you’ve ever been bar-hopping on the peninsula, you already know where this is. Light snackers can stick with their “over-stuffed” bacon deviled eggs, but the bananas foster and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches are worth the indulgence.
  • 24-Hour Donut Places like the Donuttery in Huntington Beach and City Donuts in Newport. Support independent business owners by getting some late-night coffee and donuts. Craving something else after your smoke sesh? Lox sandwiches, hot ramen, and bubble tea are all on the menu at City Donuts.

  • Taco Loco. One of the most iconic restaurants in Laguna Beach, this healthy and delicious Mexican restaurant has options for vegans and omnivores alike. Want to try a blackened mushroom taco? This is some of the best healthy Mexican food in Orange County, and it’s open until midnight every day.

Late-Night Food in Inland Orange County Cities

Even if you don’t live in a beach city, there are plenty of late-night snacks and dessert places near you—we guarantee it. Whether you live in Santa Ana, Tustin, or Irvine, there’s at least one place by you that’s still open long after the sun goes down.

Depending on where you live, you may not even have to leave your house. Cali Tacos delivers, and since they’re open until midnight, that means that you can get loaded Cali Fries, guacamole, and fish tacos right to your door late at night.

If you’re craving some sweet snacks or dessert, Afters Ice Cream has locations in too many Orange County cities to count. Get a milky bun filled with Vietnamese Coffee ice cream, or keep it simple with a scoop of Dark Matter Brownie Batter, Jasmine Milk Tea, or Frozen Hot Chocolate. For bonus stoner vibes, take it to-go and top with some shavings from your favorite Kiva Confections chocolate bar.

If you feel like having some sushi, Izakaya Honda-Ya in Tustin and Kappo Honda in Fountain Valley are renowned for their top-quality sashimi, sushi, and yakitori. They’re under the same ownership and both are open until midnight.

Kappo Honda and Honda-Ya Tustin both partner with GrubHub, so you don’t have to worry about getting a ride after you get stoned. Have as many vape hits as you want, pop an extra weed gummy if you feel like it, or take a few extra tokes of your favorite strain from your bong if that’s what you want. Just make sure you stay awake for the delivery person.

Late-Night Food in Irvine

If it’s already past midnight, you still have options. Irvine doesn’t exactly have a reputation for having a hopping nightlife scene, but it honestly should. Going to BCD Tofu House is way better than paying the cover charge at a club, and nothing hits the spot like some hot Korean soup.

BCD is open 24 hours every day, and it’s in Diamond Jamboree. It’s centrally located and close to everything in Orange County, including some great legal dispensaries like People’s OC. All orders of main dishes and Soon Tofu come with a whole spread of side dishes (“banchan”), which are refilled as soon as you finish them. You won’t leave here hungry.

The Best Marijuana Dispensary Open Late in Orange County

Orange County has too many recreational and medical dispensaries to count, each of them with their own strengths and weaknesses. We can confidently say that People’s OC offers one of the safest and most efficient shopping experiences out there. It’s fast, friendly, and open until 10 PM every night. People’s is located near most of these great late-night restaurants, and they also offer free marijuana delivery night and day. If you live in Orange County, you can buy weed online from their website easily, and we highly recommend you try it.

High-quality cannabis is easier to find than ever before. How? All you need to do is visit People’s. Pick up a joint, a dab, or some weed gummies and have your own excellent adventure—no need for Bill and Ted. There’s no better pairing than marijuana and the munchies.
